Online Event with Leslie Booker and Djuna Devereaux
What does it mean to become your own refuge? To create a safe space, sheltered from both external and internal harm, is foundational in Dharma practice. It allows us to be at ease in our bodies, release delusion and fear, and open the door to freedom.
Join friends and creative collaborators Djuna and Booker for a 90-minute session combining dynamic yoga, somatic movement, Dharma teachings, silent meditation, and connection.
The meditation sessions will create a sacred pause for restoration and insight. Dharma teachings from the Buddhist tradition will provide a framework for cultivating inner refuge, true confidence, and courage. Somatic movement will release tension and awaken the senses, leading into a dynamic and nourishing yoga sequence. The movement practice will offer a direct experience of refuge through embodied presence and belonging.
This session is a preview of themes we will explore more deeply in our upcoming September retreat: Finding Our Ground: From Anxiety to Embodied Presence.
