The Elemental Body: A Four-Class series

Through somatic movement, yoga asana, and meditation, we will experience the body as elemental—governed by earth, water, fire, air, and space. Each class stands alone, though attending the full series offers a deepening journey through the body’s elemental nature.

Fire Element: Belly and Kidney-Adrenals

Tuesday, May 5th
8:00–9:00 a.m. PT

This class brings softness, engagement, and warmth to the belly while restoring the kidneys and adrenals. We will practice twists, backbends, and deep core engagement, and supported poses to calm the kidney-adrenal complex. We'll explore how the fire element is expressed in yoga and Buddhist Dharma.

Air and Space Elements: Nervous system and Breath

Thursday, May 7th
8:00–9:00 a.m. PT

This class opens the upper body and deepens the breath, while balancing the nervous system. We will open the front body, expand the side ribs, and release the upper chest, while bringing stability and ease to the shoulders. We'll explore how the elements of air and space are expressed in yoga and Buddhist Dharma.
