Devotion begins as attention and deepens through love. Devotional practice can be expressed in the body, heart and mind as our most intimate longing to awaken. Within the refuge of an integrated experience of Dharma, our retreat will tend to this longing through insight meditation, mindful movement and devotional practice.
In meditation and movement, we’ll open to the wildness, complexity, and wisdom of these vulnerable and living hearts, while illuminating our connection to ourselves, our relationships, our community, and the wider world. Our time together will emphasize devotional expression, invite us to deepen relationship with refuge, and embrace rest and restoration in our path of practice. Our movement sessions will combine gentle somatic movements with accessible yoga to both unwind and embody the Dharma. Weather permitting, we intend to offer meditation and group practices outside on the land at Drala, opening to and learning from the wild beauty of nature.
All abilities and levels of experience are welcome.
