Slow and Steady Hip Mobility
This class offers a full body, feel good experience through somatic movement, standing asanas, and seated and supine hip work—all supported by bolsters and props. With support, we explore joint strength and mobility through longer holds and breathwork. We will take our time, and work through the hips, spine, and lower legs. (*Available through September 20th)
Befriending Your Vagus Nerve
The vagus nerve is sometimes called the "wandering nerve" for the way it travels from the brainstem down through the neck, chest, and abdomen, touching the heart, lungs, and gut along the way. As the main highway of the parasympathetic nervous system, it carries constant two-way signals between body and brain — most of the communication actually running from body to brain. This class offers intentional ways to befriend the vagus nerve for both calming and alertness, while exploring how our beloved yoga practices are highly effective in toning vagal function.
