Tending the Animal Body: Nervous System Balance Online Class

  • Djuna Yoga Zoom Online (map)

With Djuna Devereaux and Tias Little
Online Event
As we navigate the challenges of our personal and collective lives, our nervous systems activate innate animal survival responses — fight, flight, fawn, and freeze. These responses are designed to engage in the presence of danger and stress and release once it has passed. In our modern world, though, these cycles often go uncompleted, so the perception of threat can become constant and pervasive.

Tias Little and Djuna Devereaux bring together decades of experience in somatic movement, Somatic Experiencing, yoga asana, and meditation for this special session. Our mindful practice will tend to your animal body — building your capacity to recognize your body's signals, allow them space to be present, and respond to them through movement, breath, and awareness. Together, we'll cultivate clarity, balance, and resilience, so we can show up fully for what this moment asks of us.
